Last night at rehearsal, a propos of something I can't quite recall but made sense at the time, I launched into the prologue of Prince's "Let's Go Crazy" from the album Purple Rain:
Dearly beloved
We are gathered here today
2 get through this thing called life
Electric word life
It means forever and that's a mighty long time
But I'm here 2 tell u
There's something else
The afterworld
A world of never ending happiness
U can always see the sun, day or night
So when u call up that shrink in Beverly Hills
U know the one - Dr Everything'll Be Alright
Instead of asking him how much of your time is left
Ask him how much of your mind, baby
Cuz in this life
Things are much harder than in the afterworld
In this life
You're on your own
And if de-elevator tries 2 bring u down
Go crazy - punch a higher floor
Nobody in the room had a clue what I was talking about.
Tic... tic... tic...
Here's the video, for reference.

Suzanne would appreciate it. She's a Prince fan.
You ever see the Charlie Murphy's true EHollywood stories on Chappelle when he played Prince at basket ball?
